Its story begins when Eric Clapton, creator of the immortal classic ”Layla”, used to eat in a curious American restaurant in London called ”Hard Rock Café”, located in an old funk-styled building and managed by a pair of young laid-back Americans.
Clapton befriended the couple and asked them to reserve him his usual table, for this he suggested they place a metal plaque with his name, to this couple replied: ”Why don't we nail your guitar instead?”, everybody loved the idea and the guitar was hung on the wall.
Some time later, another guitar came to the Restaurant with a note written by Pete Townsend from the band ”The Who” that read: ”My guitar is just as good as Clapton's, Love, Pete.” They young restaurateurs hung it on the wall and thus began the world's larges Rock memorabilia collection in history.
The menu offers all the typical American dishes that include hamburgers like the rockin' ”Legendary”, and let's not forget the ultra-thick milkshakes and the world famous brownie.
